The IFA 1000 is a broadband line amplifier that provides high gain and controlled bandwidth. It meets strict level, loss and match specifications through the use of Quintech's proprietary and highly reliable microstrip RF circuitry and surface mount technology. The IFA 1000 is typically deployed in cable/HFC networks and serves to boost either upstream or downstream broadband (5-1000 MHz) signal.

Note: All unused ports must be terminated.

A cost-effective solution for use as either a return path amplifier (5-42 MHz) or for increasing signal levels to combiners in the forward path.
Another useful application is using the IFA 1000 as a pre-amplifier for trunk amplifiers.
This device consists of four (4) independent amplifiers designed into a single (1RU) rack mount enclosure supporting structured cable wiring.
